Thank you for all of the Terry Fox T shirt orders that were submitted and for accommodating our quick turnaround when the School Day ordering did not end up being available. This looks like a record year for our T shirt order and every dollar goes towards our fundraising goal of $3,750! The orders will be placed today and should be sent home by Thursday.

Just a reminder that our Terry Fox/Walk/Roll will take place this Friday (Sept 23) at 11:45. If you would like to join us to offer some assistance for this outdoor event, we would love to have you as we have a few ways to be involved that will help ensure a fun event. We are looking for about 6 people to do some awesome jobs at the event (spraying water bottles as runners pass and stamping hands at our lap counting area). If you would like to participate, or just cheer us on, you are welcome to join in those ways too.

Our online fundraising is growing and our Toonies for Terry tub in the office is filling with donations. Every fundraising dollar helps continue Terry’s Marathon of Hope and takes us a step closer to finding a cure for cancer. Thank you, if you are able to donate – it’s so appreciated – but we also know times are difficult right now so support isn’t just financial…talking about Terry with your family and encouraging your child as we approach our event day is every bit as valuable in carrying on Terry’s dream.
