Sheppard School offers a wide variety of ways to communicate information to parents.  Parents look here, get updates from Twitter or have set up a system with their child’s classroom teacher to get their information.  What we do know is that 82% of our parent community has signed up for School Day.  Sheppard Public School uses School Day for several purposes.  Parents may use School Day to pay for their child’s pizza but more importantly, we are using School Day to communicate up-to-date information to parents in a quick and easy manner.  Information such as last minute cancellations, snow days, popcorn days, special event days, school council meetings, fundraising initiatives, special clubs, Board information are all posted in a timely way so that you or your child doesn’t miss out on important events.   As we work towards using less paper, whole school communication will be sent through School Day whenever possible.
