It is with heavy hearts that the Sheppard Public School community mourns the loss of Audrey Henderson, a Grade 5 student in Mrs. French’s class, following a brief illness.

Audrey was a kind hearted person who brought positivity to those around her. She took part in Kodaly Choir, Green Team, Spelling Bee Club and Dance Club. Audrey was a great role model for younger students, helping daily in primary classes with lunchtime support. Audrey was a valued member of our school and her loss touches our entire community.

In honour of Audrey, the flags at the school and the Waterloo Region District School Board Education Centre will be flown at half mast this week.
