We are awaiting the implementation of the School Day payment system in order to begin our annual sale of this year’s Terry Fox T-shirt. As always, purchase of a shirt is optional, and we will ensure arrival by the day of our Terry Fox Run (Sept. 23). The cost is $20 for child sizes and $25 for adult sizes. Here’s an image of this year’s shirt. You can see it in person outside the office during our Meet the Staff night tonight.

Once again, we will also be placing an orange shirt order with The Healing of the Seven Generations in advance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 (Orange Shirt Day). Youth sizes are $10 and adult sizes are $15.

Both T shirt orders will be due on Monday, September 18. If School Day is not up and running and able to accept payment by tomorrow, we will send home paper orders and request payment by cheque or cash. We just wanted to make you aware of these orders being available and that the turnaround will be short due to the School Day issues.

All proceeds from Terry Fox T shirt sales will go towards our fundraising for The Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research, while all proceeds from the orange shirt sales will support local Indigenous initiatives through the Healing of the Seven Generations.
